Plenty of golf apps are happy to take your rounds and quietly hold them. Try to leave and there's no export, no download, no way out — years of scores locked in someone else's app, held against you switching. We find that a bit grim, and we built Caddro to be the opposite.
Three promises, plainly
- You can take it with you. Every round, every stat, every society ledger — downloadable any time, in a format you can actually use. No hoops, no support ticket.
- You can delete it. If you want to be gone, you can be gone — fully, permanently, on your say-so. Not "deactivated." Gone.
- We won't sell it. Your golf isn't an advertising profile. Your data pays for nothing but making Caddro better for you.
This isn't just a GDPR checkbox for us — though yes, we do all of that too. It's a stance. The relationship between you and your golf history should never be one where the app holds the leverage. You hold it. Always.
An app you can leave at any moment is an app that has to keep earning you.
That's exactly the pressure we want on ourselves. We'd rather you stayed because Caddro is the best home for your game — not because you couldn't get your data out. Play with us as long as it's the best thing for your golf. And the day it isn't, we'll hand you everything and wish you well on the first tee.
